Hi, I couldn't find a VS Setup forum so just posted hear so someone could point me in the right direction. The reason I'm using VBE 2008 is that it was the first one I found. It has all I need as I won't be using it a lot. I would download VS 2013 community or express editions which are free as VS 2015 editions seem to be having a lot of issues presented constantly since it is new just like issues with Win 10 which is new. Maybe wait a year or two for 2015 versions. After all 2013 versions have already been upgraded or updated or whatever 4 or 5 times to fix all the issues with it.

I came across an interesting Youtube presentation.

I give the address and a summary below: From youtube.com/watch?v=mxBtPRcER5k “How to Crack Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition NO SERIAL KEY” Press Windows key and R (old run) Type in “regedit” with no quotes Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/VBExpress/9.0/Registration Delete the entire “Registration” folder and close Registry Editor This doesn't work forever: somehow the 'Registration' folder reappears and you will have to repeat the procedure. I haven't kept close track, but it appears to set the timing back to start a one month countdown.
